Fees
Each student enrolled in Summer School is required to pay a $50 non-refundable processing fee. This is a one-time fee applied on a per-student basis: should a single student enrol in more than one Summer School course, they will only be required to pay the processing fee once.
Additional Fees
Some courses also require an extra fee in addition to the processing fee. This additional fee is used to cover costs for materials and activities related to each course. Additional fees will apply for the following Summer School courses:

Book Deposit
Several courses require a $100 refundable book deposit. This should take the form of a cheque (made out to "The Parkland School Division"), which will be held by CFL and returned to the student or shredded when they hand in their Summer School course materials.

Mature Students
Summer School is also open to mature (adult) students, for an additional fee of $110/credit.
A mature student, for Alberta High School Diploma purposes, is one who, as of September 1 of the current school year, is either:
- 19 years of age or older, or
- The holder of a previously awarded high school diploma from the province of Alberta, or an equivalent high school diploma from a jurisdiction acceptable to the Minister of Education.
Paying Fees
Payment for CFL Summer School must be made before or during course material pick-up.
- Fee payments can be made online through the PowerSchool Parent Portal, debit, cash, or cheque.
- Book deposits can be completed via cheque. This cheque will be held and returned to the student when they hand in their Summer School course materials.
- Please make cheques payable to "The Parkland School Division".
- Fees paid by a method other than cheque will be applied to any outstanding fees within Parkland School Division.
