Cross Country Update!

WOW!!! What a great start we have had this season for cross country running. We are hot out of the gates sitting third in overall rankings of all PSD schools in the division! We raked in 70 points on Thursdays run hosted by Entwistle school to open up our season.

We had 19 runners participate at the event. Cross country running will continue weekly every Thursday till mid October at various school locations throughout Parkland. Aggregate points are collected for runners born 2007-2011. These racers compete division-wide. 2007-2009 group racers complete a 2000m course while the 2010-2011 students complete 1000m races.

We are off to a very strong start with 2-gold, 2-silvers, a bronze, 2 fourth place, a sixth, eighth and ninth place finishers. All snagging valuable points for the team. Points are given out for the top ten finishers in each race.  

We have many racers from kindergarten to grade 4 who also placed and medaled in their respective races this past Thursday. These are our racers for the future. Way to GO CFL!!!!
